Weaving Patterns of Stainless Steel Wire Mesh

Plain Weave
This is the simplest and most commonly utilized weave, featuring square openings. It is created by alternately weaving the weft wire over and under the warp wire, ensuring precise control over material sizing for screening or filtration.

 

Twill Weave
In this pattern, each weft wire alternates over and under two warp wires, staggered across successive warps. It is ideal for applications requiring a fine mesh to carry heavy loads.

 

Plain Dutch Weave
The most common filter cloth, this simple weave typically has a larger diameter warp wire compared to the weft. The warp and weft wires are interwoven closely at set intervals, making it perfect for filtration and slurry-liquid separation.

 

Twill Dutch Weave

This weave offers enhanced strength over plain Dutch weave. Combining Dutch and twill weaving techniques, it produces an extremely fine mesh by passing weft wires over and under two warp wires, making it suitable for various liquid and gas filtration applications.

 

Reverse Dutch Weave
In this pattern, the arrangement is reversed compared to plain Dutch weave, with the warp wire diameter smaller than the weft wire. Five-Heddle Weave
