Biaxially oriented plastic geogrid is made from polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE) as raw materials. The process includes plasticizing, extruding into sheets, punching, heating, longitudinal stretching, and transverse stretching.
Characteristics of Biaxial Geogrid:
The biaxially oriented plastic geogrid has high tensile strength in both longitudinal and transverse directions. This structure provides a more effective load-bearing and diffusion system in the soil, making it ideal for reinforcing large areas of permanent load-bearing foundations.
