Woven Gabions
Woven gabion mesh is primarily employed for soil erosion control, bank stabilization, and river training within civil engineering projects. The rustic charm of a gabion mesh wall adds a unique and comforting ambiance for city dwellers weary of monotonous concrete structures.
The longevity of a gabion structure is reliant on the wire's durability. Our commonly used galvanized wire offers robust corrosion and rust resistance, even in moist conditions. However, PVC coated wire and Galfan-coated wire outperform galvanized wire in terms of durability, extending the lifespan of the structure. Based on height, both welded gabions and hexagonal mesh gabions can be categorized into gabion boxes and gabion mattresses. Gabion mattresses, being short and flat, are ideal for low-lying regions like rivers and dams.
