Weaving Patterns of Stainless Steel Wire Mesh
Plain Weave
The simplest and most commonly employed weave features square openings. It is created by alternately weaving the weft wire over and under the warp wire, ensuring precise control over the size of materials to be filtered or screened.
Twill Weave
In this pattern, each weft wire alternates over and under two warp wires, staggered in successive warps. It is ideal for fine meshes that need to bear heavier loads.
Plain Dutch Weave
This common and straightforward weave is the go-to filter cloth. Typically, the warp wire is thicker than the weft wire, and they are tightly interwoven at specific intervals. It is perfect for filtration purposes and separating slurry from liquids.
Twill Dutch Weave
Combining the Dutch and twill weaving techniques, this pattern yields a robust, fine mesh filtering cloth. With weft wires passing over and under two warp wires, it is fit for a variety of liquid and gas filtration tasks.
Reverse Dutch Weave
Contrary to the plain Dutch weave, this pattern features thinner warp wires compared to weft wires, interwoven tightly at set intervals. It is ideal for high-pressure vertical and horizontal filter leaf applications, especially where backwashing and filter cake removal are crucial.
Five-Heddle Weave
Featuring every warp wire alternating up and down each single and four weft wires, this pattern creates rectangular openings and offers high flow rates. It is extensively used in petroleum and chemical filtration industries.
Stainless Steel Wire Mesh Features:
1. Outstanding resistance to rust and corrosion.
2. Strong resistance to acids and alkalis.
3. Robust resistance to chemicals and harsh weather conditions.
4. Clean, bright, and aesthetically pleasing appearance.
5. Superior strength and durability.
Stainless Steel Wire Mesh Applications
• Widely utilized for filtering, protection, printing, and ornamental purposes.
